STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of National Security (Supplementary) Regulations.
The National Security (Supplementary) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:—
“
60.
Notwithstanding anything in the Auctioneers Stock and Station and Real Estate
Agents Act, 1941, of the State of New South Wales, the Premier of that State
may, by order published in the
(
a ) the continuance in office of the members of the Council first constituted under that Act for such period as is specified in the order; and(
b ) the suspension of the provisions of that Act relating to the preparation of rolls until such date as is appointed by the Premier, by notice in theNew South Wales Government Gazette :
Provided that an order made under this regulation shall not be effective to authorize the continuance in office of any person for more than twelve months after His Majesty ceases to be engaged in war.”.
