REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE (TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS) ACT 1946-1948.*

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendments of the National Security (Staff of War-time Authorities) Regulations.
“5. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
‘officer’ means an officer of the Board;
‘organization’ means an organization registered under the
Commonwealth Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904-1949;‘returned soldier’ has the same meaning as in the
Commonwealth Public Service Act 1922-1948;‘the Board’ means the Australian Apple and Pear Marketing Board constituted under the National Security (Apple and Pear Acquisition) Regulations;
‘the Secretary’ means the Secretary to the Board.”.
