National Security (Rationing) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939–1940.*

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the National Security (Rationing) Regulations.
After regulation 31 of the National Security (Rationing) Regulations the following Regulations are added:—
“
32. For the purposes of these Regulations, the Commission may arrange for the preparation of posters and their display at post offices and postal receiving offices throughout the Commonwealth and at such other places as the Commission directs.
“
33. The Commission may prepare and make available at post offices and postal receiving offices throughout the Commonwealth, and at such other places as the Commission directs, forms, and envelopes for the transmission of such forms, required by these Regulations, to be filled in and transmitted thereunder.
“
34. All ration books and other forms, documents and papers issued by the Commission or required by these Regulations to be filled in and transmitted thereunder may be transmitted through the post free of charge, subject to any Postal Regulations, and all ration books, forms, documents and papers so transmitted, if duly addressed, shall, on proof of posting, unless the contrary is shown, be deemed to have been duly received by the person to whom they were addressed on the day when in the ordinary course of post they should have been received at his address.”.
