National Security (Meat Industry) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1943.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendments of the National Security (Meat Industry) Regulations.
(
a ) by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “eight” and inserting in its stead the word “eleven”; and(
b ) by omitting sub-regulation (3.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—“(3.) Four of the members shall be selected from among the members of the Australian Meat Board, six of the remaining members shall be selected from officers of the Public Service of the Commonwealth and the other remaining member shall be a member of the Military Forces”.

“9.—(1.) There shall be
payable to any member of the Committee, and to any person, or to any member of
a sub-committee, appointed in pursuance of paragraph (
“(2.) Where any such member or person is an officer of the Public Service of the Commonwealth, no salary, fee or allowance shall be paid to him under this regulation except under the authority of the Public Service Board”.
“(4.) The salaries and conditions of employment of officers appointed in pursuance of this regulation shall be such as are, subject to the approval of the Public Service Board, determined by the Committee.”.
