REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE (TRANSITIONAL  PROVISIONS) ACT 1946-1947.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence (Transitional Provisions) Act 1946-1947.

Amendments of the National Security (Liquid Fuel)

Regulations. 

Amendments relating to abolition of the Commonwealth Liquid Fuel Control Board.

1..—(1.) The National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regulations are amended as specified in the Schedule to these Regulations.

(2.) All orders, directions, authorities, permits, licensees or other documents made, given or issued, before the commencement of these Regulations, by the Commonwealth Liquid Fuel Control Board, and in force at the commencement of these Regulations, shall, subject to the National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regulations, continue in force as if made, given or issued by the Controller of Liquid Fuel.

(3.) Any reference in any such order, direction, authority, permit, license, or other document to the Commonwealth Liquid Fuel Control Board shall be read as a reference to the Controller of Liquid Fuel.

Cases in which licence or ration tickets not required.

2.Regulation 17 of the National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regu­lations is repealed.

Grant of bulk supplier’s license.

3.Regulation 30 of the National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regula­tions is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “ 28 ” and inserting in their stead the figures “ 29 ”.

Issue of duplicate licences.

4.Regulation 35 of the National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regula­tions is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words “, and upon his paying a fee of Two shillings and sixpence ”.
