National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendment of the National Security (Liquid Fuel) Regulations.
“(2.) The Board shall consist of—
(
a ) the Controller of Liquid Fuel;(
b ) the Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Oil Board; and(
c ) five other members appointed by the Minister, one of whom shall represent rural consumers of liquid fuel, one of whom shall represent consumers of liquid fuel using heavy vehicles, one of whom shall represent other consumers one of whom shall represent the motor trade and one of whom shall represent retailers of liquid fuel.
“6.—(1.) The Controller of Liquid Fuel shall be Chairman of the Board.
“(2.) The Minister may appoint a Deputy Chairman of the Board.”.

a )by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “three” and inserting in its stead the word “four”; and(
b )by omitting from sub-regulation (3.) all the words from and including the words “In the absence”.
“9a.
“(2.) There shall be payable to the members of the Board such rates of travelling allowances as the Minister approves.”.
“46. Strict compliance with the forms in the Schedule to these Regulations shall not be required but substantial compliance shall be sufficient for the purposes of these Regulations.”.
