STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939–1940.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the National Security (Landlord and Tenant) Regulations.
(
a ) by omitting from paragraph (a )of the definition of “lessor” and “lessee” the word “and” (last occurring); and(
b ) by inserting, after paragraph (b ) of that definition, the following paragraph:—“; and (
c ) in respect of premises which are subject to a mortgage, a mortgagee who enters, or has entered, into possession of the premises under the mortgage and a person who was the lessee of the premises under the mortgagor immediately prior to the mortgagee entering into possession,”.
(2.) Where, prior to the commencement of this regulation, an order has been made for the recovery of possession of any prescribed premises from any person who, if this regulation had been in force
