REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the National Security Act 1939-1940.

Amendment of the National Security (General) Regulations.

Restriction Orders and Detention Orders.

Regulation 26 of the National Security (General) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1.) the word “or” (last occurring); and

(b)by adding at the end of that sub-regulation the following paragraph:—

“; or (d) prohibiting or restricting that person from operating on any moneys transferred to Australia from overseas, to his or on his account, or on moneys already in Australia on account of a person outside Australia.”.
