REGULATIONS
UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939–1940.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the National Security Act 1939–1940.

Amendments
of the National Security (Exchange Control) Regulations.
Control
of certain payments and transactions.
1. Regulation 10 of the
National Security (Exchange Control) Regulations is amended by inserting in
paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (3.),
after the word “receive”, the word “a”.
Control
of disposal of securities.
2. Regulation 17 of the
National Security (Exchange Control) Regulations is amended by inserting in
sub-regulation (1.), after the word “consent”, the words “in writing”.
Control
of foreign securities.
3. Regulation 18 of the
National Security (Exchange Control) Regulations is amended by inserting in
sub-regulation (1.), after the word “consent”, the words “in writing”.
Orders.
4. Regulation 27 of the
National Security (Exchange Control) Regulations is amended by inserting in
paragraph (a), after the word “person”
(second occurring), the word “or”.
