REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1943.*

I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the National Security Act 1939-1943.

Amendments of the National Security (Building Operations) Regulations.

Administration.

1.Regulation 2 of the National Security (Building Operations) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Post-war Reconstruction” and inserting in their stead the words “Works and Housing”.

Saving of consents, &c.

2.The National Security (Building Operations) Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:—

“18. Every consent, permission, exemption, approval or other authority whatsoever which was granted, and every direction, order or requirement which was given or made under these Regulations by the Minister of State for Post-war Reconstruction or the Minister of State for War Organization of Industry or by a delegate of either of those Ministers and which was in force immediately prior to the commencement of this regulation shall continue in force as if granted, given or made under these Regulations by the Minister of State for Works and Housing.
