STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939–1943.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendments of the National Security (Boot Trades Dilution) Regulations.
(
a ) by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the words “Upon employing an added tradesman,”; and(
b ) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—“(4.) An employer may require any such apprentice to transfer as an apprentice to another employer who has undertaken to employ him as such in an establishment approved by a Local Dilution Committee as suitable for the completion of the training of the apprentice.”.
“16a. Every employer in the State of Western Australia shall within thirty days after the commencement of this regulation, furnish the Local Dilution Committee in that State with particulars in writing of the names, addresses, ages and occupations of all persons (not being recognized tradesmen or apprentices) who, at the commencement of this regulation, are employed by him to perform work ordinarily performed by a recognized tradesman, and all such persons shall be deemed to be added tradesmen within the meaning of these Regulations.”.
