REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1943.*
I,
THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting
with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following
Regulations under the
Dated this twenty-second day of November, 1944.

Amendments of the National Security (Australian Barley Board) Regulations.
(
a )by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the word “three’’ and inserting in its stead the word “four”; and(
b ) by inserting, after sub-regulation (2.), the following sub-regulations:—“(2a.) One member of the Board shall be representative of oat growers.
“(2b.) The member who is the representative of oat growers shall not take any part in proceedings of the Board which concern barley only.”.

a ) by adding at the end of paragraph (b )the words “or by the Board on behalf of the Commonwealth”;(
b ) by inserting, after paragraph (ba ), the following paragraph:—“(
bb ) purchase and sell or dispose of oats and grain sorghum;”;(
c ) by omitting from paragraph (c ) the words “barley acquired by the Commonwealth or of any barley sold or disposed of” and inserting in their stead the words “barley, oats or grain sorghum acquired or purchased, or sold or disposed of,”.
