REGULATION UNDER THE NATIONAL SECURITY ACT 1939-1940.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the National Security (Apple and Pear Acquisition) Regulations.
After regulation 23bof the National Security (Apple and Pear Acquisition) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—
“23c.—(1.) Where the Board is of the
opinion that apples or pears are being sold in contravention of these
Regulations in any market or other place where fruit is sold, it may, by order
published in the
“(2.) The owner or any person having the control of any market or other place so declared shall not, unless and until the declaration is revoked, permit or suffer any apples or pears to be sold, or offered or displayed for sale, in that market or place except by a person approved by the Board and notified in writing to the owner of, or person having the control of, the market or place.”.
