Regulations 2000

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations

1990 to—

(a)

increase certain fees and charges payable for entry to land managed under the National Parks Act 1975; and

(b) make other minor amendments.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 48 of the National Parks Act 1975.

3. Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

4 July 2000.

4. Principal Regulations

National Parks (Fees and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations
2000

In these Regulations, the National Parks (Fees and
Charges) Regulations 19901 are called the

Principal Regulations.

5. Annual permits and passes

(1) In regulation 10(1) of the Principal Regulations,

for "4" substitute "3".

(2) For regulation 10(2) of the Principal Regulations

substitute—
"(2) The charge for an annual day visitor's pass

for a car for a year or part year commencing on 1 July in any year and ending on 30 June in the year next following for the

Mornington Peninsula National Park—Cape Schanck Sector and Arthurs Seat State Park is 6 times the charge payable for a car under item 9 of Schedule 2.".

(3) In regulation 10(5) of the Principal Regulations,

after "Seat" insert "State Park".

(4) In regulation 10(7) of the Principal Regulations,

omit "Lake".

6. New Schedules 2 and 3 substituted

For Schedules 2 and 3 to the Principal Regulations substitute—
