Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to make a minor consequential amendment to reflect the proposed changes to the requirement to affix registration labels to vehicles (the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Amendment (Registration Labels) Regulation 2012 abolishes the requirement that registration labels be issued and affixed to light motor vehicles and trailers).

This Regulation is made under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, including Part 13.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the National Parks and Wildlife Amendment
(Registration Labels) Regulation 2012.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of National Parks and Wildlife Regulation 2009

Clause 7 Use of vehicles, hoofed animals, vessels and machines in parks

Omit clause 7 (1) (d) (ii). Insert instead:

(ii)      is required to display a valid registration label but does not display that label, or
