Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to change the amounts payable under a penalty notice for certain offences under the National Parks and Wildlife Regulation 2009, so as to standardise those amounts across legislation that regulates conduct at certain public places.

This Regulation is made under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, including sections 154 (the general regulation-making power) and 192 (Penalty notice for certain offences).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the National Parks and Wildlife Amendment (Penalty Notice

Offences) Regulation 2019.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
