Commencement Proclamation

under the

National Parks and Wildlife Amendment Act 2010 No 38

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the National Parks and Wildlife Amendment Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint:

(a)

2 July 2010 as the day on which the whole of that Act commences, other than the provisions referred to in paragraph (b), and

(b)

1 October 2010 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(i)	Schedule 1 [2] (to the extent that it inserts definitions of Aboriginal heritage impact permit and harm),
(ii)	Schedule 1 [9],

(iii)	Schedule 1 [31]–[37],
(iv)	Schedule 1 [41] (to the extent that it inserts section 91L),
(v)	Schedule 3.2 [1], [4] and [5].
