An Act to excise from Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park land required or used for or in connection with the construction of part of the Sydney to Newcastle Freeway and to vest that land in the Commissioner for Main Roads. [Assented to, 4th December, 1984.]

BK it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent ot the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

Short title.

This Act may be cited as the "National Parks and Wildlife (Adjust- ment of Area) Act, 1984"

I.

Interpretation.

2. In this Act. "reservation'' means a reservation by or under the National Parks and Wildlife Act. 1967 (being a reservation of land deemed to be reserved as a national park under the National Parks and Wildlife Act. 1974).

Excision of land from ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

The reservation of land as Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park is. to the

extent that that reservation applies to the land described in Schedule I.
revoked.

Vesting of land in the Commissioner for Main Roads.

The land described in Schedule I is vested in the Commissioner for Main Roads tor the purposes of the Main Roads Act. 1924. S( HI -D IM IE I

All those pieces or parcels of land containing about 30.147 hectares situate in the Shire of Homsby, Parish of Cowan. County of Cumberland, being lot 10 in Deposited Plan 636557 and lots 1. 5. 8. 9 and 10 in Deposited Plan 247987.

All that piece or parcel of land containing about 18.569 hectares situate in the Shire of Hornsby. Parish of Cowan, County of Cumberland, being lot 11 in Deposited Plan 247987 exclusive of the part of that lot which lies within the boundaries of the area shown as Sydney-Newcastle Expressway on plan catalogued Ms. 20305 Sy., in the Department of Lands and described as excluded from Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park in the First Part of the Third Schedule to the National Parks and Wildlife Act, 1967.
