(Relating to the expiration of exemptions from liability for offences)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Fauna Protection Regulations 1949 are mended by inserting after

Regulation 16A (7) the following clause:

(8) This Regulation expires on 30 April 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this Regulation is to amend the Fauna Protection Regulations

1949 to provide that Regulation 16A is to expire on 30 April 1992.

That Regulation exempts certain persons and authorities from liability for offences relating to the taking and killing of protected fauna and endangered fauna under section 98 or 99 of thr National Parks and Wildlife Act.
