His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act

1974.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 2 to the National Parks and Wildlife (Administration) Regulation 1995 in relation to the short descriptions of offences for which penalty notices may be served

The short descriptions of offences under section 157 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 are being changed so as to bring them into line with the wording of that section.

This Regulation is made under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, including section 154 (the general regulation making power) and section 160 (penalty notice for certain offences).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the National Parks and Wildlife

(Administration) Amendment Regulation 1997.

2 Amendment of National Parks and Wildlife (Administration) Regulation 1995

The National Parks and Wildlife (Administration) Regulation

1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Omit “fail to give name/address” from the matter relating to section driver’s licence”.
157 (3) (a).
  1. Schedule 2

Omit “give false name/address” from the matter relating to section
157 (3) (b).
Insert instead to “state false name/place of abode”.
