National Measurement (Patterns of Measuring Instruments) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and having taken into consideration recommendations made by the National Standards Commission to the Minister of State for Science and Technology with respect to regulations to be made for the purposes of subsection 19a (1) of the National Measurement Act 1960 make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The National Measurement (Patterns of Measuring Instruments) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

2.   Regulation 6 (Approval)

2.1 Subregulation 6 (1):

Omit “, after examination,”.

3.   Regulation 9 (Certificates of approval)

3.1 Paragraph 9 (2) (b):

Omit “permanent head of”, substitute “Secretary to”.
