REGULATIONS UNDER THE NATIONAL HEALTH ACT 1953-1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953-1973.

NATIONAL HEALTH (VARIATION OF BENEFITS) (No. 9) REGULATIONS

Citation.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health (Variation of Benefits) (No. 9) Regulations.

Commencement.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1st September, 1973.

Definition.

3. In these Regulations, “ the Act ” means the National Health Act 1953-1973.

Variation of First Schedule to the Act.

4. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the First Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations.

Variation of Second Schedule to the Act.

5. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Second Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.

Variation of Third Schedule to the Act.

6. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Third Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 3 to these Regulations.

Variation of Fourth Schedule to the Act.

7. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Fourth Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations.

Variation of Fifth Schedule to the Act.

8. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Fifth Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 5 to these Regulations.

Variation of Sixth Schedule to the Act.

9. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Sixth Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 6 to these Regulations.

Variation of Seventh Schedule to the Act.

10. The Act shall have effect as if the table in the Seventh Schedule to the Act were varied as set out in Schedule 7 to these Regulations.

Variation of the Table in the First Schedule to the Act

1. Omit items 5, 6, 9,11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42 and 45.

2. Insert each of the following items in the appropriate place in Part I of the table having regard to the number specified in the first column:—
