1  Name of instrument

This instrument is the National Health Security (National Notifiable Disease List) Amendment Instrument 2015 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 11(3) of the National Health Security Act 2007.

4  Schedule(s)

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.  

Schedule 1—Amendments

National Health Security (National Notifiable Disease List) Instrument 2008

1    Division 2.3 of Schedule 1

Repeal the Division, substitute:

Division 2.3—Quarantinable diseases

2.3.7	Smallpox
2.3.8	Viral haemorrhagic fever
2.3.9	Yellow fever

Omit:

Poliomyelitis

Insert:

Poliovirus infection
