Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the

1.1 The National Health Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

“43a. In this Part:

the supply by NAL of new batteries for hearing aids;
the repair and maintenance by NAL of hearing aids;
(c) the replacement by NAL of lost, damaged or obsolete hearing aids;

“43B.(1) Subject to this regulation, an NAL client who requires the provision of hearing aid services must pay a hearing aid charge.
Payment by an NAL client of a hearing aid charge entitles that client, and any dependent child of that NAL client, to be provided with any hearing aid services for the period of 1 year commencing on the day of payment.
“43C. (1) Subject to subsection (2), the hearing aid charge is $25.00.
“(2) If NAL clients who are spouses of one another pay the hearing aid charge at the same time, the hearing aid charge payable by each of them is $20.00.”
“43D.If an NAL client who has paid a hearing aid charge dies within the year commencing on the date of payment, a refund is payable calculated in accordance with the formula:
