National Health Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the National Health Act 1953.

The National Health Regulations are amended by adding at the end thereof the following regulation:

Periods prescribed for purposes of definitions in sub-section 82zga (5) of Act

“31. (1) A period of 22 months 26 days is prescribed for the purposes of the definition of ‘relevant contributor’ in sub-section 82ZGA (5) of the Act.

“(2) The period commencing on 1 July 1955 and ending at the expiration of 31 August 1982 is prescribed for the purposes of the definition of ‘relevant period’ in sub-section 82ZGA (5) of the Act.”.
