National Health Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 November 1984.

Amounts prescribed for the purposes of sub-section 47 (1) of the Act

2. Regulation 28aof the National Health Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “$32.35” and substituting “$33.35”;

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “$45.15” and substituting “$48.50”;

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “$26.65” and substituting “$28.10”;

(d) by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “$37.80” and substituting “$39.05”;

(e) by omitting from sub-regulation (5) “$23.40” and substituting “$27.55”;

(f) by omitting from sub-regulation (6) “$27” and substituting “$27.80”;

(g) by omitting from sub-regulation (7) “$32.35” and substituting “$33.35”; and

(h) by omitting from sub-regulation (8) “$37.80” and substituting “$39.05”.

Prescribed amount for the purposes of sub-paragraph 47 (2) (b) (iii) of the Act

3. Regulation 29 of the National Health Regulations is amended by omitting “$12.40” and substituting “$12.75”.
