National Health Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and pursuant to section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901,hereby make the following Regulation under the National Health Act 1953.

After regulation 29 of the National Health Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Class of benefits prescribed for purposes of sub-section 73bb (9) of the Act

“29aa. For the purposes of sub-section 73bb (9) of the Act, the following class of benefits is prescribed, namely, benefits of a kind referred to in paragraph (da) or (dd) of the definition of ‘basic private table’ or ‘basic table’ in sub-section 4 (1) of the Act.”.
