National Health Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the National Health Act 1953.

Prescribed business—definition of health insurance business in subsection 67 (4) of the Act

Regulation 29aab of the National Health Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (1) “is owed” and substituting “is undertaken by an organisation, other than a registered organisation,”;

(b) by omitting from subregulation (2) “in paragraph (b),” (second occurring) and substituting “in that paragraph (b), where the liability is undertaken by an organisation, other than a registered organisation, and”.
