I, PHILIP MICHAEL JEFFERY, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953.

  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the National Health (Registered Health Benefits Organizations) Repeal Regulations 2007 (No. 1).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence:

(a)if they are registered before the Private Health Insurance Act 2007 commences — on the commencement of that Act; or

(b)if they are registered after that Act commences — on the day after they are registered.

  1. Repeal of National Health (Registered Health Benefits Organizations) Regulations 2000

The National Health (Registered Health Benefits Organizations) Regulations 2000 are repealed.
