1 Name of Determination
(1) This Determination is the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits—Therapeutic Groups) Determination 2010.
(2) This Determination may also be cited as PB 1 of 2010.
4 Definitions
In this Determination:
Act means the National Health Act 1953.
ATRA group means the Angiotensin II receptor antagonist group.
H2RA group means the H2 receptor antagonist group.
5 Therapeutic groups
For paragraph 84AG(1)(a) of the Act, a therapeutic group is a group mentioned in a Part of Schedule 1.
6 Drugs in therapeutic groups
For paragraph 84AG(1)(b), each listed drug mentioned in a Part of Schedule 1 is in the therapeutic group mentioned in the Part.

Editorial changes
The Legislation Act 2003 authorises First Parliamentary Counsel to make editorial and presentational changes to a compiled law in preparing a compilation of the law for registration. Misdescribed amendments
A misdescribed amendment is an amendment that does not accurately describe the amendment to be made. If a misdescribed amendment cannot be given effect as intended, the abbreviation “(md not incorp)” is added to the details of the amendment included in the amendment history.
