1  Name

(1)  This instrument is the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) (Subsection 84C(7) Price) Amendment Determination 2021.

(2)  This instrument may also be cited as PB 58 of 2021

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under subsection 84C(7) of the National Health Act 1953.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) (Subsection 84C(7) Price) Determination 2019

1  Subsection 6(1)(c)

Omit:

“(i)  if the pharmaceutical benefit is a ready‑prepared pharmaceutical benefit—$1.29; or

(ii)  if the pharmaceutical benefit is an extemporaneously‑prepared pharmaceutical benefit—$1.66.”

substitute:

“(i)  if the pharmaceutical benefit is a ready‑prepared pharmaceutical benefit—$1.30; or

(ii)  if the pharmaceutical benefit is an extemporaneously‑prepared pharmaceutical benefit—$1.67.”
