National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits)

Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and pursuant to section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Regulations.

2. After regulation 9b of the Principal Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Prescribed offices for the purposes of subsection 84e (5) of the Act

“9ba. For the purposes of subsection 84e (5) of the Act, each office specified in Schedule 7 is a prescribed office.”.

3. The Principal Regulations are amended by adding at the end the following Schedule:
