2. Regulation. 35 o f the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) standards of Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the follow ing sub- and'purit'yof reg u la t io n s:-

W here the letters ‘ B.P. 1958 ’ appear after the name of the pharmaceutical benefit or the additive, the standards of com position and purity are those constituted by the description of that pharmaceutical benefit and of its ingredients, or o f that additive, as the ease may be, in the edition o f the book called the British Pharmacopoeia published under the direction o f the General M edical Council o f the United Kingdom in the year 1958, as affected by the additions or amendments contained in the 1960 Addendum to that book.

“ (8.) W here the letters ‘ B.P.C. 1959 ’ appear after the name o f the pharmaceutical benefit or the additive, the standards o f com position and purity arc those constituted by the description o f that pharmaceutical benefit and o f its ingredients, or of that additive, as the ease may be, in the edition of the book called the British Pharmaceutical C odex published by direction o f the Council o f the Pharmaceutical Society o f Great Britain in the year 1959.”.
