1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 1).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 12 April 2001.

3Amendment of National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Regulations 1960

Schedule 1 amends the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Regulations 1960.

      the claim for a payment from the Commonwealth in relation to the supply of the pharmaceutical benefit to which the prescription relates is made under the Claims Transmission System, within the meaning of section 99AAA of the Act; and

    • (b)

      the claim includes the information that, under subparagraphs (1) (a) (ii), (1) (b) (ii), (1) (ba) (ii) and (1) (c) (ii) would, except for this subregulation, be required.
