Amendment Special Arrangements — Highly Specialised Drugs Program for Private Hospitals
1 Commencement
This instrument commences on 1 September 2010.
2 Amendment of PB 64 of 2010
Schedule 1 amends PB 64 of 2010.
Schedule 1 Amendments
Omit paragraph 12(c)
and substitute:
(c) in the case of the highly specialised drug "rituximab"; or
(d) in the case of highly specialised drug "lenalidomide", unless the prescription is for continuing PBS-subsidised treatment in a patient who has previously been issued with an authority prescription for lenalidomide. In such case the medical practitioner may submit a prescription in accordance with subparagraph 11(b)(i).
