Commencement
This Instrument commences on 1 July 2019.
Amendment of National Health (Efficient Funding of Chemotherapy) Special Arrangement 2011 (PB 79 of 2011)
Schedule 1 amends the National Health (Efficient Funding of Chemotherapy) Special Arrangement 2011 (PB 79 of 2011).

Part 1, Division 1, Section 3, Definition for “diluent fee”
omit: $5.28 substitute: $5.35
Part 1, Division 1, Section 3, Definition for “dispensing fee”
omit: $7.29 substitute: $7.39

substitute:
preparation fee means an amount of $85.06.
Note: The preparation fee includes $40 for compounding the dose of chemotherapy drug in the infusion, which is not indexed annually. Where a TGA licensed compounder has compounded the dose of a chemotherapy drug, an additional TGA licensed compounding fee of $20 is payable to that TGA licensed compounder ‑ see section 46B.
