Amendment determination — Pharmaceutical Benefits-Early Supply

1          Name of Instrument

(1)      This Instrument is the National Health Act (Pharmaceutical Benefits – Early Supply) Amendment August 2009 - specification under subsection 84AAA(2).

(2)      This Instrument may also be cited as “No. PB 71 of 2009”.

2          Commencement

This Instrument commences on 1 August 2009.

3          Amendment of PB 30 of 2009

Schedule 1 amends the National Health (Pharmaceutical Benefits – Early Supply) Instrument 2009, PB 30 of 2009.

Schedule 1        Amendments

  1. Schedule 1, item dealing with Etanercept

insert in the columns in the order indicated:

Injection 50 mg in 1 mL single use injection pen, 4 Injection 1 5
  1. Schedule 1, item dealing with Oestradiol and oestradiol with norethisterone

omit from the columns in the order indicated:

Transdermal patches containing 510 micrograms oestradiol (as hemihydrate) with 4.8 mg norethisterone acetate, 8 Transdermal 1 5
Transdermal patches containing 620 micrograms oestradiol (as hemihydrate) with 2.7 mg norethisterone acetate, 8 Transdermal 1 5

and substitute columns after the item dealing with Oestradiol and oestradiol with norethisterone in the order indicated:
