ARRANGEMENTS MADE UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH 100(1)(b)(i)

IVF/GIFT PROGRAM

No. PB 41 of 2007 

I, STEPHEN DELLAR, Assistant Secretary, Pharmaceutical Evaluation Branch, Department of Health and Ageing and Delegate of the Minister for Health and Ageing, pursuant to subparagraph 100(1)(b)(i) of the National Health Act 1953, hereby make the following Arrangements for the purpose of providing that an adequate supply of special pharmaceutical products will be available to persons receiving in vitro fertilisation or gamete intra-fallopian transfer treatment:

1.          These Arrangements commence on 1 June 2007.

2.          The Arrangements made on 12 March 2007 with effect from 1 April 2007 (No. PB 26 of 2007) are, in these Arrangements, referred to as the Principal Arrangements.

3.          Part 2 of the Schedule to the Principal Arrangements is amended in respect of the special pharmaceutical product Progesterone, by adding the following details after the details in respect of the Vaginal gel (prolonged release) 90 mg in single dose pre-filled applicator:
