ARRANGEMENTS MADE UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH 100(1)(b)(i)

HIGHLY SPECIALISED DRUGS PROGRAM

I, DIANA MACDONELL, Acting Assistant Secretary, Pharmaceutical Evaluation Branch, Department of Health and Ageing and delegate of the Minister for Health and Ageing, pursuant to subparagraph 100(1)(b)(i) of the National Health Act 1953, hereby make the following Arrangements for the purpose of providing that an adequate supply of special pharmaceutical products will be available to persons who are receiving treatment with highly specialised drugs at private hospitals as non-admitted patients, day admitted patients or patients on discharge:

  1. These arrangements commence on 1 February 2007.

  1. The Arrangements (No. PB 51 of 2006) under subparagraph 100(1)(b)(i) of the National Health Act 1953 made on 7 November 2006 with effect from 1 December 2006 are, in these Arrangements, referred to as the Principal Arrangements.

  1. Schedule 2 to the Principal Arrangements is amended by omitting the details in respect of Pegfilgrastim injection 6 mg in 0.6 mL single use pre-filled injection pen.
