National Gas Access (WA) (Act Amendment)

Regulations 2017

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the National Gas Access (WA) (Act
Amendment) Regulations 2017.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a)	regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations - on the day on which the National Gas Access (WA) Adoption ofAmendments Order 2017 clause 3 comes into operation.

3. Schedule 1 of the Act amended

These regulations amend the National Gas Access (WA)
Act 2009 Schedule 1.

4.            Clause 3 amended

(1)	In clause 3(1) after "body," insert:
initial National Gas Rules,
(2)	In clause 3(2) in the insertion insert in alphabetical order:

initial National Gas Rules means -

(a)	the National Gas Rules that, when the National Gas Access (WA) Act 2009 section 30 came into operation, applied under section 294; and
(b)	the National Gas Access (Pipelines-Arbitration Amendment) Rules 2017 made by the Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy of South Australia under the National Gas (South Australia) Law section 294F (notice of which was published in the Government Gazette of South Australia on
1 August 2017 at p. 2994);

5.      Clause 13 amended

(1)	In clause 13(1) delete "(the initial National Gas Rules)".
(2)	In clause 13(2) delete "initial National Gas Rules." and insert:
rules referred to in it.
