National Gallery Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the National Gallery Act 1975.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The National Gallery Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 4 (Entry charge)

2.1 Subparagraph

  4 (2) (c):

Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

• “(c)

  a person who is in receipt of:

  • (i)

    a pension payable under Part 2.2, Part 2.3, Part 2.4, Part 2.5, Part 2.6 or Part 2.8, an allowance payable under Part 2.7, Part 2.11 or Part 2.12, or a benefit payable under Part 2.14, of the Social Security Act 1991; or

  • (ii)

    a pension or an allowance payable under Part II, Part III or Part IV of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986; or

  • (iii)

    an allowance payable under Part 8 of the Student and Youth Assistance Act 1973;”.
