National Energy Retail (Other Gases) Amendment Regulations 2024

under the National Energy Retail Law (South Australia) Act 2011

Part 1Preliminary1Short title

These regulations may be cited as the National Energy Retail (Other Gases) Amendment Regulations 2024.

2Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which the Statutes Amendment (National Energy Laws) (Other Gases) Act 2023 comes into operation.

Regulation 13(2)—delete "gas" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

4Amendment of Schedule 1 – Civil penalty provisions

Schedule 1, Part 3—after "Rule 132(1)" insert:

5Amendment of Schedule 2 – Retailers under transitional provisions

1. (1)

   Schedule 2, table, column 2—delete "Electricity and gas" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

   1. (a)

      Electricity; and

   2. (b)

      Natural gas and natural gas equivalents

   Schedule 2, table, column 2—delete "Gas" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

   Natural gas and natural gas equivalents

6Amendment of Schedule 3 – Exempt sellers under transitional provisions

   Schedule 3, table, column 2—delete "Electricity and gas" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

   1. (a)
