Part 1—Preliminary

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the National Electricity (South Australia) (Local Provisions) Variation Regulations 2020.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Variation provisions

In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.

Regulation 3(2)(a)—before subparagraph (i) insert:

1—Transitional provision

Regulation 3(2)(a)(i1) of the National Electricity (South Australia) (Local Provisions) Regulations 2019 (as inserted by regulation 4) applies in relation to a T‑3 reliability instrument of a kind referred to in section 19B(8) of the National Electricity (South Australia) Act 1996, regardless of whether the T‑3 reliability instrument was made before or after the commencement of regulation 4.

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
