I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the National Electricity (New South Wales) Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 13 December 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Section 9 o f . and Schedule 1.6 to. the National Electricity (New South Wales) Act 1997 (provisions relating to amendments to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992) commenced on 14 August 1998.

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the remaining provisions o f the

National Electricity (New South Wales) Act 1997.
