AN ACT relating to a proposal to erect a Public Hospital

at Narrogin.

[Assented to 30th December, 1932.1

HEREAS the Narrogin Municipal Council proposes

Hospitals Act, 1927, to borrow money for the purpose ofWunder the authority of section twenty-seven of the

constructing and equipping a hospital at Narrogin, in the Municipality of Narrogin, which will be of direct benefit to persons residing in such municipality and also to persons residing in the Narrogin, Caballing, Wickepin, Williams, and Kulin Road Districts, but is unwilling to raise such loan and to proceed with such work unless the road boards of the said road districts enter into an agreement with the said council whereby the said boards respectively will bind themselves to make agreed periodical contributions towards the payment of interest and principal payable by the said council in respect of the said loan until the date fixed for the repayment thereof : And whereas the said road boards are willing to enter into such an agreement but are prevented from so doing by the second proviso to subsection one of section twenty-seven of the Hospitals Act, 1927: And whereas it is deemed expedient to authorise the said road boards to enter into the said proposed agreement and thereby to bind themselves for the period aforesaid : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the

Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Narrogin hospital Act, 1932, and shall be react with the Hospitals Act, 1927, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

= mmileir "4 visions of section twenty-seven of the principal Act, raising a loan for the purpose of the- construction and equipment of a public hospital at Nanogin, then, notwithstanding the second proviso to subsection one of the said section twenty-seven, but otherwise subject in all respects thereto, it shall be lawful for each and all of the road boards men- tioned in the schedule to this Act to enter into an agreement with Narrogin Municipal Council and thereby to bind themselves to make agreed periodical contributions to- wards the payment of interest and principal payable by the said council in respect of the loan raised by it as afore- said for the period of the currency of such loan and until the date fixed for the repayment thereof.
