1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Narrabri Local Environmental Plan Amendment (Land

Uses) 2012.

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to all land to which the following environmental planning instruments apply:

(a)

Narrabri Local Environmental Plan 1992,

(b)

Narrabri Local Environmental Plan No 2,

(c)

Narrabri Local Environmental Plan No 5 (Township of Boggabri).

Insert in alphabetical order in clause 5 (1):

attached dwelling has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

backpackers’ accommodation has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

bed and breakfast accommodation has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

dual occupancy has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

hostel has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

multi dwelling housing has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

residential flat building has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

secondary dwelling has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

seniors housing has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

serviced apartment has the same meaning at is has in the standard instrument prescribed by the Standard Instrument (Local Environmental Plans) Order 2006.

[2]      Clause 9 Zone objectives and development control table

Omit item 1 from the matter relating to Zone No 2 (a) (Residential) in the

Table to the clause.

Insert instead:

1      Objectives of zone

The objective of this zone is to provide for residential development, together with associated non-residential development which serves the incidental needs of the local residents or which is incidental to the residential use of land.

[3]      Clause 9, Table

Omit item 3 from the matter relating to Zone No 2 (a) (Residential).

Insert instead:

3      Only with development consent

Attached dwellings; backpackers’ accommodation; bed and breakfast accommodation; dual occupancies; hostels; multi dwelling housing; residential flat buildings; secondary dwellings; seniors housing; serviced apartments; any other purpose not included in item 2 or 4.
