An Act to amend the Mutual Recognition (Western Australia)

Act 1995.

[Assented to 18 December 1998]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Mutual Recognition (Western

Australia) Amendment Act 1998.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

3.             Section 3 amended

Section 3 of the Mutual Recognition (Western Australia)

Act 1995* is amended —

(a)

in subsection (1) in paragraph (a) of the definition of “termination day”; and

(b)

in subsection (2),

by deleting “1999” and inserting instead —

“ 2001 ”.
