1.1 These Regulations commence on Gazettal.
2.1 The Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
3.1 Insert:

[NOTE: States become Parties to the UN Convention by depositing instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (see Articles 27 and 28). A current list of Parties to the UN Convention may be accessed through the United Nations Internet home page at (Countries to which the Act applies subject to the UN Convention)
5.1 Omit the Schedule.
