AN ACT to render valid a certain Loan raised by the

Municipality of Albany.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority

of the same, as follows :-

1.    This Act may be cited as the Municipality of Albany Short title.

Loan Validation Act, 1924.

nlidntion of Loan.

Notwithstanding any provision of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906, to the contrary, the loan of Three thousand pounds proposed to be contracted by the Muni- cipality of Albany by a notice published in the Gazette on the 1st day of April, 1924, shall when effected be lawful and binding on the said Municipality, and the debentures to be issued in accordance with such notice shall be a valid security for the repayment of the loan.

2.
