AN ACT to further amend the Municipal

Institutions Act, 1895.

3. SECTION one hundred and thirty-four of the principal Act

134.

" Provided, notwithstanding anything contained in Section one hunched and twenty of the Municipal Institutions Act of 1895, that the Council, with the consent of the Governor, shall have power to dedicate to the public use any surveyed private street on which allotments have been laid out and sold, not less than twenty-five feet in width, which shall have been in unrestricted public use with vehicular traffic for twelve months; and after publication of notice thereof in the Government Gazette, such dedication shall be deemed to be valid and complete, and such street shall thereupon become a public thoroughfare, and shall be noticed and recorded in the Office of Titles, and the Council shall have full power and authority over such street, and may expend money upon it in the same manner as on any other public street."
